Week Four... brought some reality checks

Week Four... it brought new workouts... and some not so new obstacles that I needed to face.  Cardio 3--fun, but intense.  Resistance 3--made me feel every bit of my 31 years.

Now the not so new obstacles... wanting and eating ALL the food.  I have felt so hungry in this program.  I have meal planned every week, but still find myself eating snacks while making dinner and random snacks during the day at work.  I never feel satisfied.  I could blame "my time of the month", but it's been like this the entire month :)

So when I took my 4 week progress pics... and saw little progress, I knew it was time to meal plan differently.  It was time to acknowledge my own sabotage and try to fix it.  When am I hungriest?  Why is it happening?  


  1. When?  I am hungriest from one until dinner time.  
  2. Why?  Because during lunch, I am also eating my afternoon snack :(
So I looked at my meal plan.  Could I move something from breakfast to lunch?  I decided to remove my spinach from my shake and add a second veggie to lunch.  Will this work?  Who knows?  Is it worth a try?  Absolutely.  I'll definitely keep track and report back!

Week Three--Crushed!!

Not a single workout missed!  Feeling stronger, lighter, younger.  Even got a 3 mile run/walk in....and a crazy intense hike.
With it being spring break, my nutrition suffered.  But I did make Monster Meat Loaf.  And it rocked....a definite keeper. So no new meal plan.  I plan on redoing Week Three's menu and sticking to it this time.

So due to my nutrition, my measurements stayed the same...or in some areas, increased.  But theseriously shorts wouldn'the button three weeks ago. Now they do!  Winning!
